I was shocked when I entered the Museum for the first time - I went back in more than once 😂 this is a real gem right in the beating heart of British Airways HQ at Waterside in Uxbridge, close to Heathrow airport.
They’ve got some great volunteers, very friendly and knowledgeable. You’ll need their input with all the amazing historical artefacts. From as early as the first Commercial (Lancastrian) flight through to the Carbon age.
There’s so much to look around and with fantastic coffee houses in the building, there’s plenty to snack on.
You’ll need to go to the website and book your appointment by email or phone - they’re very receptive and will escort you from the main check-in.
